Human Development and Education in a Digital Society

This area implies research of the modern social, psychological, neurophysiological and genetic factors, as well as longitudinal cross-cultural genetically informative research in human development.

Projects

Grant of the Russian Federation Government (Resolution No. 220); research area: Cognitive Psychology.

Project goals: investigation of gene-environment processes associated with educationally relevant cognitive, neurophysiological and motivational characteristics; establishment of the Russian School Twin Registry.

Head of the project: Professor Yulia Kovas, TSU, director of the Laboratory for Cognitive Investigations and Behavioural Genetics, co-director of the International Centre for Research in Human Development.

The main project partner – TEDS, King’s College London.

Genetically Informative Longitudinal Investigation of Early Mental Childhood Development (Grant of the Russian Science Foundation).

Project goal: interdisciplinary investigation of bio-psycho-social factors of child development.
