From School to Work: TSU Students will be Employed by Tomsk IT-Companies

The programming school organized by TSU and specialists from local IT companies has successfully finished. 25 students have been working on their projects for three weeks and the five best ones have received a job offer.

At the premises of the partner companies, the students have been developing an internal company portal, teaching a robot to discover barriers via web-camera, developing a service for searching books and many others.

According to the School organizer, Alexandra Petelina, associate professor at the Faculty of Innovative Technologies, this event helps students to better get prepared to enter the labor market. The employers have benefited as well, as far as they prefer to “bring up” their trainees according to their own demands.
